Halton Region
Covering Burlington, Oakville, Milton, and Halton Hills.
The Niagara Region is situated on the Niagara Peninsula, with a natural barrier of the Niagara River between the United States of America and Canada. The Region of Niagara is divided up into Niagara North and Niagara South, and is bordered by Haldimand County and the Hamilton-Wentworth Region to the west, Lake Erie situated to its south, Lake Ontario located on its northern border, and New York State adjacent to its eastern border. The Niagara Region contains five international bridge crossings and the Welland Canal, which is a key transportation link between the Great Lakes and the Atlantic Ocean. The region’s key economic sectors are manufacturing, agriculture, tourism and transportation/logistics.
