Where we work

Halton Region

Covering Burlington, Oakville, Milton, and Halton Hills.

Combining Urban Areas with Agricultural and Open Space Attractions

Bordered by Wellington County to the North. The Region of Peel to the East. Regional Municipality of Hamilton-Wentworth to the West. Lake Ontario situated to the South along with the downtown core areas, the Halton Region is an economically diverse and robust destination in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) with a high quality of life, being named one of the best communities to live in Canada.

The population in the area has seen great growth with its role as a residential area for nearby cities. The rapid growth is primarily stimulated by its neighbouring cities. The City of Mississauga and the City of Toronto continue to flourish and that expansion had a spillover effect on the Halton Region. With increased usage of automobile transportation in the past half century, many employees started commuting to their jobs and were able to spread out across the Greater Toronto Area.

As a result of high prices and limited space in the City of Toronto, people and businesses started to relocate or settle in the Halton Region. The Towns of Oakville, Burlington, Milton, and Halton Hills have seen success in their economic development as various industries and companies are headquartered or situated in the town.
